Produced between 1966 and 1968, the Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 was Lamborghini's second production model and a milestone for the brand. At the heart of the vehicle was an impressive 4.0-liter V12 engine developed by Giotto Bizzarrini.

This engine featured a double overhead camshaft per cylinder bank and six twin Weber carburetors, producing an impressive output of approximately 320 hp at 6,500 rpm. Power was transmitted via a five-speed manual transmission developed specifically for the 400 GT. The V12 engine was not only powerful but also exceptionally smooth, making the car ideal for both sporty driving and long journeys.

The 400 GT 2+2 was a further development of the 350 GT and, in addition to its impressive engine power, offered a luxurious interior and space for four people, making it one of Lamborghini's first grand tourers.
