The Triumph BDG 250 is a German motorcycle produced by Triumph-Werke Nürnberg AG (TWN) between 1949 and 1957. It was equipped with a 247 cc two-stroke engine producing approximately 11 hp and enabling a top speed of around 95 km/h. The BDG 250 was known for its reliability and was used by both civilian and government agencies. Its distinctive features were the telescopic forks and robust frame, which ensured a comfortable ride. With its simple yet functional design, the Triumph BDG 250 represents an era of post-war German motorcycle production and is now a prized classic among collectors.
