The BMW K100 is a classic motorcycle produced by BMW Motorrad in the 1980s. It is known for its transversely mounted four-cylinder inline engine, which earned the bike the nickname "Flying Brick." With a displacement of 987 cc and an output of approximately 90 hp, the K100 offered a balanced combination of performance, reliability, and ride comfort. Its use of fuel injection and water cooling was particularly innovative. The K100 was also valued for its durability and shaft drive, which ensured low maintenance costs.
