The Borgward Hansa RS 1500 was a racing car developed by the German company Borgward in the 1950s. The vehicle was specifically designed for motorsports and featured advanced technology and aerodynamic bodywork. The Hansa RS 1500 was powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing approximately 120 hp, an impressive performance for the time. Its low weight and sophisticated chassis design made the car highly competitive.

The Hansa RS 1500 was particularly successful in circuit races and hillclimbs. The body was flat and aerodynamic, often with a streamlined design that improved top speed and handling stability. The car reached speeds of around 200 km/h and held its own against strong domestic and international competition in various races. Despite its sporting successes, the Hansa RS 1500 remained relatively exclusive and is today a rare and sought-after classic car, a reminder of Borgward's involvement in motorsports.
