The 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is a powerful, sporty version of the classic Ford Mustang, developed by motorsports legend Carroll Shelby. Based on the Mustang Fastback, the GT350 was built specifically for racing enthusiasts. It features a highly modified 4.7-liter V8 engine producing approximately 306 hp.
Visually, the GT350 features sporty touches such as the distinctive racing stripes, side air vents, and the Shelby Cobra emblem. The vehicle has also been equipped with upgraded suspension components, more powerful brakes, and a sportier setup to deliver outstanding performance on the road and on the track.
The 1966 version featured minor changes compared to the previous year, including more color combinations and an optional Paxton supercharger for even more power. Today, the GT350 is a sought-after classic and a symbol of American muscle car culture.
