The Megola was an exceptional motorcycle built in Germany in the 1920s. Its unique feature was its five-cylinder radial engine, mounted directly in the front wheel. This unusual design allowed direct power transmission to the front wheel, eliminating the need for a gearbox. The engine produced approximately 14 hp and propelled the Megola to a top speed of around 85 km/h. Despite its innovative design and racing success, the Megola remained a rarity, as it was only produced in small numbers. Today, it is a sought-after collector's item and stands as a symbol of engineering creativity and experimentation in the early days of motorcycling.
