The Moto Guzzi Ercole is a three-wheeled commercial vehicle produced by the Italian motorcycle brand Moto Guzzi between 1946 and 1980. The name "Ercole" (Hercules) refers to the impressive robustness and load-bearing capacity of the vehicle, which was developed primarily for commercial use in the post-war period.
The Ercole is equipped with a single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, typically 500 cc or 600 cc and producing approximately 20 hp. The engine drives the rear axle via a cardan shaft. Its design allows for a payload of up to 1.5 tons, making it ideal for transporting goods in urban and rural areas.
A distinctive feature of the Ercole is its simple yet robust design with an open cargo area that could be customized. It was often used by artisans, farmers, and small businesses. Today, the Moto Guzzi Ercole is a sought-after collector's item and a symbol of Italian engineering and post-war innovation.
