Yamaha RD 350 YPVS

The Yamaha RD 350 YPVS (Yamaha Power Valve System) was a sporty two-stroke motorcycle produced in the 1980s. It was a further development of the popular RD 350 and was introduced in 1983 with the newly developed YPVS system, which adjusted the exhaust valve timing depending on the engine speed. This resulted in better power output and a wider usable rpm range. The liquid-cooled 347 cc twin-cylinder two-stroke engine produced up to 63 hp, depending on the model variant, making the RD 350 YPVS one of the fastest motorcycles in its class.

The RD 350 YPVS was known for its agile handling, low weight, and sporty performance. It was extremely popular both on the road and on the racetrack and is considered one of the most iconic two-stroke motorcycles of the 1980s.
