Yamaha XT 500 FN

The Yamaha XT 500 FN is a special edition of the classic Yamaha XT 500 enduro motorcycle and was introduced in 1987, the last year of production of the XT 500. It featured the same robust 499 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine producing approximately 32 hp and offered the same off-road and on-road capabilities as the standard model.

The "FN" variant was distinguished primarily by special color schemes and design updates. Technically, it remained largely unchanged, with the focus on a modern, striking look to complete the successful XT 500 model in style. The XT 500 FN is particularly sought after by collectors as it marks the end of an era and represents the long success story of the Yamaha XT 500.
